How did MK’s Kitchen come to life?

Growing up I have always known my purpose in life was to take care of others (my husband, our future children, and anyone else along the way), but with that, I have never really been a “hobby person”. I have had endless interests and ideas, but I have never put them to use, that is until I started baking. Baking is a hobby I picked up solely because I wanted to make yummy foods without all of the extra preservatives and “yuck” ingredients for my family (crazy that a loaf of bread contains between 16-30 ingredients). This “hobby” has brought me so much joy and change in my life that I wanted to share it with others and what better way to do that than to open my own cottage food business? I was able to mix my passion to take care of others and my love of baking to create MK’s Kitchen.

I feel so blessed that this is the journey I am starting and I could never do this without my husband, but even greater without God guiding me here. I hope that my foods bring YOU the love and joy that baking them for you brings ME.
